How are people getting obscene license plates approved?
I love funny license plates (and am trying to think of a really good idea for one myself next time I get new plates). But I have a question…I looked through a gallery of funny license plates and a lot of them are really sexual or obscene. Now, don’t get me wrong, I have no problem with that whatsoever. But a friend of mine tried to get custom plates and they rejected three different ones. So, how are these people I see in a gallery of funny license plates getting them through and accepted by the government? Are some of these fakes? Or really old ones, before they started screening? I can see how some of them got through just because some government worker didn’t get the joke. But some of them are pretty blatant!
