Different people are passionate on a lot of running techniques as there are a lot out there such as the Pose running and chi running. The promoters of these different techniques do make many claims that their method has benefits but there is no evidence yet regarding what is the best method for running. If the promoters get a negative evidence, they sometimes twist it to make it look as though they are right. Of course their passion is commendable but sometimes their passion gets in the way of rationale discussion and debate.
