While dining at a friends house, I had the occasion to need some butter for a hot dinner role.

Well, the butter was as hard as a rock and buy the time I got the butter on the hot bread, I had nothing more than a bunch of mush.

Too bad this family didn’t have a butter crock that would have kept the butter at almost room temperature and would have allowed easy spreading.

I can’t imagine trying to keep butter in the ole fridge and then try to use it for spreading or cooking.

Do the right thing, get a butter crock and things will work well for you.
