I guess when I talk about the French Butter Crock, I might find myself saying much about an object that does nothing  more than keep butter fresher, longer.

On the other hand, if you are a gourmet chef, such as myself, well then the use of butter and, of course, the french butter crockare things that you just can’t take for granted.

I use fresh butter on a daily basis and the idea that I would have to use something other than room temperature butter is not something I will ever do.

That is why I have a french butter crock and use it.
