US Immigration Policy
I will admit that I have not followed the news so much lately in the changing US immigration policy. It seems like the arguments are the same as they have always been, and sometimes I feel like I do not really know enough to form an opinion that matters. The arguments have been going on for some time now, and as far as I can tell, they center around jobs.
Some individuals claim that immigrants are taking up all the lower income jobs, and that this is taking them away from lawful US citizens who pay taxes. Other people claim that they are adding to the workplace in a beneficial way since no Americans would be willing to work for that low of wages.
