Knowing Different Types of Patents
Looking on the Internet to find out as much information about my design so that I could do a majority of the paperwork myself, I am now doubting if I should do any of the paperwork myself at all. It seems like depending on the types of patents that I am interested in filing for, there are even specifics within each field that I should have a lawyer write up for me. I do not want to get caught up in the legal ramifications if my design was even remotely close to another already patented design. Having a lawyer do the work up front may save me in the long run.
