One thing that Xbox 360 gamers have in common is familiarity with what has become known as the xbox red lights problem. This is a problem that occurs all too often to Xbox gamers, usually after extending gameplay when the Xbox unit has had a chance to heat up quite a bit. In fact, the temperatures inside the Xbox can become so hot that the solder joints on the circuit boards soften to the point where connectivity is lost. The 3 red lights that start flashing on the front of the console is actually a diagnostic code programmed in by the Xbox programmers so that they would know where to start looking to troubleshoot the problem. Unfortunately if you see 3 flashing red lights on the front of your Xbox console you already know what the problem is because so many people have experienced it before you. So you’re either going to have to send your Xbox out for repair, or try to fix the problem yourself using one of the DIY fix it guides available for download on the Internet.
