If you are a right-handed guitar player you will use your left hand to press down on the strings and form all of the different chords on the fingerboard. acoustic guitar playing involves pressing down on the strings in a manner that will give you a clear tone. It is not easy at first but as you practice it will get easier because you will gradually build up strength in that left hand. Practice every day and things will get easier to do each and every day.
