Dreaming of New York

I’ve always dreamed of visiting New York City someday.  All the hustle and bustle of such a grand city holds such and appeal to me.  There seems like there would be no end of things to do and so many museums and stores to visit.  One thing I’d like to do is visit all the contemporary art galleries New York has to offer.  There are probably hundreds of smaller galleries as well as quite a number of larger galleries to choose from.  It would be near impossible to see them all, just getting to visit a few would be reason enough to make the trip after all.  Perhaps one day my dream could become a reality.

Looking for New Songs?

If you’re learning how to play guitars, finding good songs to play is key.  The fastest, easiest, and cheapest way to find songs is by looking on the internet.  There are many sites with a huge index of songs to choose from, and you are likely to find the songs and artists you know and love.  Just be careful though, some songs might be inaccurate of the real version, or be too difficult to play.  Another option if you want to sound very similar to the original, is to buy song books from music stores.  You can get variety song books, or just the songs from your favorite album of your favorite bands.

Wedding Music and Ares

My fiance and I are getting married in a few months, and the only task she’s given me is making mixed CD’s to play at the reception. They need to be a good mix of slow and fast songs, and they all have to be good for dancing to. Plus, she has a lot of specific songs, like one for our first dance, one for her father daughter dance, and stuff like that. So I’ve been working hard on that, and had to get an Ares free download to find a lot of the music we want. But it’s coming along good, and I think they’ll be awesome.

I am Starting to Rethink my Ideas

I have heard of a lot of different websites that offer music lessons on the Internet, but I never thought that they would work. I figured that there was no way a person could become proficient at an instrument without a teacher being physically there. But that was before I saw some amazing Online Guitar Lessons. They are taught by a musician who loves his instrument, and there are close-up screen shots of every chord from the player’s angle. In addition, the tabs are animated so that the student never has to guess where he’s at. After perusing the website, I am starting to rethink my ideas about Internet music lessons.

Painting with Acrylic

A versatile painting medium, acrylic paint has been used in art since the 1950’s and has been attributed to some of the most interesting paintings produced by many different artists.  Acrylic paint can be used in many different ways.  In fact, there are plenty of acrylic painting techniques that can be used to achieve a variety of effects to produce interesting paintings. One such technique is the use of a squeegee.  This technique is quite easy to use, all one needs to do is choose the colors they want to blend on the canvas, drop these onto the surface and then, using the squeegee, smear the colors in one fluid motion.  This creates an interesting blend of colors that only smeared acrylic paint can achieve.

Knowing How To Play A Left Handed Sitar

I live in a big apartment and the person who lives in the apartment beside mine loves to play different instruments. He inevitably became my friend, and he taught me how to play unique instruments that I have never seen in my entire life. The last one he showed me was a left handed sitar.
