Can You Get Into College With A Homeschool Diploma?

Some colleges are starting to accept a homeschool diploma from applicants.  Years ago, a student had to have a high school diploma as well as a stellar grade point average in order to get into a good college.  Those who had a GED were often denied.  Anyone who had a homeschool diploma was often treated like a second class citizen and not admitted to good colleges.  The tides have turned, however, and today more colleges are accepting a homeschool diploma.  The reason for this is that more parents are opting to home school their children.  In addition, home schooled students generally have a better academic record than those who are schooled in the traditional setting.  For this reason, many colleges are glad to accept a home school diploma.   

Your Middle School Science Fair Options

Like the name suggests, middle school can be a confusing stage.  It is like being in the middle of everything.  You can’t quite figure out whether you are a child or a young adult.  When it comes to academics, middle school science fair projects can also be difficult to identify.  Which projects are not too easy that any grade school student can easily do them, yet not too complicated that you can't ever hope to finish it on time and without a lot of outside help?  That is to say, which projects will be just right for a middle school science fair?
