The choice of Belize bank accounts

I had wanted to open an offshore bank account for many years, but I just never got around to looking at the various options that were available on the market until just a few months ago when I realized it was time to make a decision. After looking at the various options that were available and speaking to several people who already had offshore bank accounts I decided that Belize bank accounts looked to be one of the best. The great thing about the account that I chose was that I could apply for it online, and as well as giving me a bank account it also gives me a credit card, which enables me to keep control of my finances much easier than I used to be able to. Since I do a lot of international traveling it is really good to have that credit card at hand.

The Skinny On International Banking

I’m learning all I can about
International Bank Transfer services to that end. I think it’s time to consider more overseas options.
You never can tell what the Fed will do next. Most often, it’s the worst possible course for our currency. I say diversify.
I’ll keep you posted.

Thoughts On SEP IRA Plans

Checked into the benefits package at my new job today, and it looks like they focus on
SEP IRA Plans for retirement, instead of the standard 401k plan. Looks like I have some reading to do. I had never even heard about these before today.
I’ve been digging around the net trying to learn more about
Sep Accounts so I can make the right decisions, but I’m a bit clueless when it comes to finance, so it’s been slow going.
Hopefully it won’t have to be an ongoing thing - I can just set things up and forget about it. I hate managing this stuff.

High Yield Online Savings

I’m firing Citibank. They just aren’t a great deal anymore for my money. I’m looking at Washington Mutual instead, and some of the other internet savings accounts as well. Much better deals to be had. I mean with the rates most big banks pay you, you’re not even keeping up with the huge rate of inflation in this country. Not even close. You’re actually losing money in real terms. Not exactly the sort of reward you’d like to get for saving. I personally like Washington Mutual Online Banking. I’ve been with them for a couple of years now, and have no complaints. I’ve saved a lot of money as well. Frankly, I couldn’t care less about meeting a banker in person. I’d much rather do my banking online with a click or two than wait in line at the branch. In fact, I think most people would be better off switching to an online bank.

Online Banking

I’m firing Citibank. They just aren’t a great deal anymore for my money. I’m looking at Washington Mutual instead, and some of the other online savings accounts as well. Much better deals to be had. Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you are lending your money to the bank with these accounts, and they ought to be paying you. It’s not like you get to charge the bank fees when they loan you money, after all. I poked around the net, and settled on WT Direct as the best option out there. They pay great rates, and don’t charge those ridiculous fees. I know some people have issues with not being able to meet their bankers in person, but honestly I don’t really care about that. More people should check out internet banks instead of big banks.

Understanding Joint Living Trusts

A joint living trust is one where the person setting up the trust is usually the trustee for the funds while they are living. After they have passed another person will then take over the living trust and the allocation of the funds and assets that are in the trust. Typically the joint living trust is set up as revocable so that at any time it can be terminated or changed. This allows more freedom with the trust and is an option that some people choose.
