I’ve heard about them, read about them but never saw one. Thanks to Tim Cassidy, he was gracious enough to display his set of Hunting Bowie Knives. I was astounded seeing the different shapes, styles, variety and attractive range of leather handles. One of the knives had a metal soaring eagle on the scabbard and featured a carved engraved blade with intricate etched metal around the handle. A jewel was embossed on the scabbard and its over all length reached 13″. Tim proudly exhibited his collection which took a long time to gather and also promised to take me along on his next hunting trip.

One of my favorite pastimes is to go camping because I really believe that fresh air is good for the body and the human soul, and among my favorite pieces of camping kit are North Face Tents, since I’ve used these for over 10 years and have always been absolutely astounded by the quality with which they are made. I now have four of these and I use them at various times of the year but I will always use this brand because I love it so much. For me there is no other tent that I will ever think of using.
