The inexpensive vacations are usually to places like Las Vegas, Jamacia and Hawaii and designed to generate intense romantic interest from his prospective mate. As a result, since Mike is unemployed, they end up financially supporting until he's "back on his feet", which seems to never happen…..

California definitely has a lot to offer everyone, regardless of persuasion or intentions. However, one of the best things about the state are the California beaches.
