As a kid, I was the only boy amongst a house full of girls (besides my father of course).
At times, this disparity was rather inconvenient. They had all the bathroom time. They used all the shampoo. And heck… they even used me as their personal hair-styling dummy on more than one occasion.
To be honest, however, when you’re a shy 10-year-old boy, having all these 14 and 15 year-old girls messing with your hair is pretty cool.
Anyway, when my oldest sister left home to go the prestigious Leons Beauty School, all of us were proud of her.
We all knew she was destined for a great career.
