Choose the most un-stressful time in your life and use this opportunity to try to quit smoking.  List reasons why you wish to quit and keep them close by to look at as a reminder when you begin to crave cigarettes.  Keep a list of why you like to smoke as well.  If you list the reasons you can list resolutions for these problems and have hem ready when you need them.  Include responses to those who try to coax you into smoking again.

 

Do away with all tobacco products and associated items.  Inform your friends that you are trying to quit smoking and ask for their help.
