My husband and I recently installed laminate flooring in the kitchen and livingroom. I wanted to protect the floors as much as possible, so I decided to purchase two area rugs. In the klitchen, I wanted a rug that I would be able to put the kitchen table and chairs on. That way, the floor would not become scratched from the table legs and the legs of the chairs. In the livingroom, I wanted an area rug for the center of the room, which is a very high traffic area. I shopped around for area rugs, and I ended up buying two mohawk area rugs. It was a bit ironic that I chose Mohawk rugs, because that is the brand of laminate flooring that we installed.
