Fortunately for people who are in temporarily dire straights thanks to a bad credit rating,  buying a home  is not as much of a problem as it once was. There are many lending and credit institutions that will lend a hand to those people with bad credit ratings but for some reason will require a line of credit to buy a home. However, these institutions will invariably have very difficult terms of payment to offset their risk. While some may see this as loan sharking, this will be the only feasible way for many of these companies to do business.
