When you work as a real estate agent you will need to understand that your listings belong to your broker and not to you. Getting your real estate license reciprocity allows you to write contracts and facilitate in the purchase and sale of real property and/or real estate, however, your broker holds your license and the listings that you bring in. That being said, you need to understand that if you leave your broker for another agency, you will most likely leave your current listings behind. Everything is a negotiation but you need to realize that that is a very real possibility.
