Taxes are the lifeblood of every government. It is collected to raise funds for the programs and projects of the country. Yet, the question is, “do i file taxes for unemployment?”. There are a lot of unemployed fresh graduates today due to over population and decreasing demands for new employees. Downsizing has become a trend to multi-national and domenstic companies. Taxes can be imposed to employed personnel by deducting their monthly salaries as what they call “withholding taxes”. While the unemployed are given exemptions or considerations to pay. Maybe, if they will get a job sooner, then their salaries will be tax deducted. My cousin graduated as a nursing student. Unfortunately, the trend for his course already fluctuated and there was no job for him. The tax collector gave him exemptions and ample time for him to find a job. Now, he is working on a multi-national company as a resident nurse with big salaries.
